How old is your device? maybe you can call tech support to have your device replaced if it does the same thing.

Unfortunately all warranty ended mid January this year... by freak coincidence, about the same time as the wireless problems started.
(It started with loss of connections and spontaneous reboots, but it always worked after a reboot/reset) |

What country are you in?..
If your in an EU state you can probably still claim for replacement. My guess would be a defective wall plug, If you have another device that uses the same voltage, plug size, and polarity then I would try using it to see if the problem is still there. |

I cant remember what length they gave me on my 3700.
It's a big mishmash at the moment with law changes that did happen last year, in the UK our consumer protection was higher than that offered by the EU so I have not kept track much. I think in Sweden you have 3 years from date of purchase if the fault existed anytime during it's original warranty period. Because hardware shouldnt degrade within two years then it may still be possible for you to claim. http://www.konsumentverket.se/otherl...chte/Garantie/ may be the relevant group that has the information you may need. A complaint letter to NetGear (quoting the 3 years if you can confirm it) may see them help you. After that you would probably need to go to http://www.arn.se/ or a similar company. I still think this is just a power supply fault, even on netgears lifelong warranty products there is an exclusion for the power supply that limits them to 1 year. |

I bought it from Webhallen.com and they say three years, so I've contacted them. Maybe they will direct me to NetGear directly, but it seems like the best place to start. |

Got side-tracked for awhile but aprox ten days ago I sent the router back to webhallen.com (the online store I bought it from) and last week I've got a package from them with, I guess, a new router. I'll pick it up on my way home from work today.
Yay!
