wndr3300 connection problem

Hi everyone, if I'm posting in the incorrect area, please accept my apologies. i have a netgear wndr3300 router. The router drops downloads via wired and wireless connections. The funny thing is I never lose internet connection on my ps3, wireless laptop, or wired desktop. I can always browse the web etc, but if your downloading something it may run 30 seconds, may run 5 mins but it will stop downloading. If you hit pause download, and then resume. it will continue to download for a few more mins/secs........ Now something interesting. If I use ps3 for online gaming etc, I don't get a lag or disconnected..... My desktop uses windows 7 home premium (64 bit). My laptop runs windows 7 starter edition (32 bit). and I have even had it happen on my friends laptop that uses windows xp sp3 (32bit) any help would be appreciated as I am really stumped.

wndr3000 is actually rangemax routers and not rangemax next routers

look at router setup on my sig below and make sure broadband and router is setup correctly despite PS3 may have less issue.
