Question FVS336G: v1 <—> v2 ?

What are the differences between the v1 and v2-model of FVS336G?

I learned the internal power supply (what is great) in v1,
and the plugs at the back side.

Are there any differences in hardware and software?
Any differences in performance, functionality, quality?
Why are there two different models?
What is outdated in v1?

Thank you,
kind regards ... Robert
