I tried doing a little searcher, but did not see my issue here. If I missed it sorry.
My stora has always worked great. Then I changed my router out. I can still access it while at home and everything that it used to do seems to still work with the exception that I can no longer access it from outside my home network and I can also no longer check for updates. Gives me an error each time. I tried resetting things and it still doesnt work. Anyone have an Idea I might try other than doing a hard reset? While I understand that my data will survive, its just the point of I'd rather not mess with it unless needed. Especially since this is the only problem Ive had since I bought it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, |

You don't say what kind of router you now have, but it looks like you don't have UPNP enabled.
Have a look at its documentation to see how to turn UPNP on. If the model you have doesn't support UPNP, then you will need to open the right ports manually (there's a thread here somewhere about that). |

I have a Cisco N3000.
Also UPNP is on. I even did a reset of the router just to see if maybe something was stuck. |

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Cisco routers. Sorry.
Can anyone else help? |

hi,
follow the steps for the Port Forwarding help at this link http://support.stora.hipserv.com/en/ if the correct ports are not available, follow the step for the Router configuration wizward on the same link.
