Torrent login

I have set the torrent login and password and done the port forwarding etc. When I visit (mystoraname).mystora etc etc I get the login window but my credentialsdont work. What am I doing wrong

Have you configured your router's to port forward 9091?

This is required for remote access.

yes i have, i've just tried using the torrents from the mystora site and i get a message saying I can only access torrents while on my LAN. is this correct?

We've kept it simple, it avoids support calls from inexperienced users. Any user who wants to access their Torrent downloads from the internet should know how. Clue: We provided the port number we use in Preferences -> Torrents.

I'm not trying to be mean by not telling you how... people who lookup and research how to do something tend to learn and retain better

Learn how to do port forwarding and static IP's on your router.

Give the stora a static (reserved) IP. EG 192.168.1.10

Then port forward 9091 to that address.

to access torrents remotely use http://STORANAME.mystora.com:9091

Obviously replace STORANAME with your stora's name.

A google search with your router's model will bring guides on how to do all of the above.


Transmission on Stora is great. I regulary access from work or my phone and things are ready by the time I'm home.

rereading this it's obvious what your issue is.

Use :9091 at the end of the URL.

http://NAME.mystora.com:9091

yep i did all that and I can't get access. I'll keep trying though

so i tried a number of things and then final turned off torrent support then turned it back on and that seemed to work
