Hello, I have aproblem here that I can't figure out. My host computer's hard needed to be replaced. I installed NETGEARS Storage Utility program, I then go to My COmputer to see if the hard drives from SC101T are ther and they aren't. So I went into the Utility I downloaded to first try to attach the drives, but when I do my computer crashes. I then restart my computer and try to mange the drives, however I can't because the NEATGEAR Utility shows I have 0 space. However in both cases the NETGEAR Utility shows the drives. What can I do??? Below is the printout of the Z Scanplus program. I hope you people can help me out????

Perform a long reset (~60 sec.) and try again to attach. Repeat this procedure a few times before giving up.
If above failed, we need the get part info. Read my sticky about this: http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?t=35157 Check you have no issues with firewalls. Even Windows own must be turned off. |

I have tried the 60 sec reset, but I'm not sure what is needed to be done. Is it just holding the reset button in for 60 plus seconds and then tring to attach the drives again? Also I have the get part info listed below.

The information shows healthy drives.
Your situation and the solution to your problem is shown in this post: http://forum1.netgear.com/showpost.php?p=30&postcount=7 Which software did you download? Use the latest software from the site: http://support.netgear.com/app/answe...R3dReG9EWms%3D Don't use the z-scanplus utility for diagnostics. Use the supplied z-scan software. In my already mentioned sticky are instructions how to locate it. If all fail, then your last option is: Use the SFSExtract utility to copy the whole disk to another medium. More: SFSExtract Syntax (http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?t=32684) Then you can wipe your SC101 HD clean and create new drives. Then you will be able to copy back the data. |
