Default Setup Range Extender on open network

Do I have to get to the wireless router in order to connect my wn3000rp to an open network? The owners of the network know that I plan to install the range extender, but it's in another building, I don't know if I can get there in 2 minutes like it says in the instructions. If so, I'll have to have somebody at the other end on the phone to press the wps button. To be clear, this is an open network with no encryption. Thanks!

Default Re: Setup Range Extender on open network

it's obvious you need someone on other end to help you to use WPS or just connect to open network by scanning the SSID and connect.
