Folks,
after giving up on the SC101T for a while after managing to at least recover my family photos off it, I've decided to punish myself again. This time I've installed the SCM v3.0.6 on WinXP SP3 and connected my SC101T to the same network. I run the SCM utility and I can see the two drives to be attached. However, when I go to attach them I enter the password, click next and I get a BSOD. When WinXP comes back up it says it was a driver issue. Great. Has anyone experienced this problem, and more importantly, resolved it? Please help me recover my data so I can go gangsta on this device ala Office Space. regards, GM |

Hi Jack,
many thanks for your reply. I tried the link you provided but it was not applicable to my situation. It describes how to remove the driver via the registry. I interpret your suggestion to also mean that I should search the forum for "blue screen". I did thoroughly search Google and the forums for the combination of "SC101T" and "WinXP" and "blue screen" or "crash" with no luck. My reasoning being that only a discussion of the correct driver would be useful in solving my problem. I couldn't find anything useful so I decided to post my message. I do appreciate your help, so if you find something more specific I'm all ears. regards, GM |

I'm currently on the road and sending this from my smartphone.
Don't use Google, search only this Netgear Subforum. I searched here for BSOD and got a lot of relevant post: http://forum1.netgear.com/search.php?searchid=4670009 |
