Default Netgear Wireless Adapter (WNA 3100) not regognized anymore

I can't get my Netgear wireless adapter (WNA 3100) to work.
So, it was working fine up to a point. Then, it started switching off and not being recognized until I restarted my PC and changed USB ports. Now, it will not be recognized at all. When I connect it to one of the USB ports that I am sure that work, the blue light on the WNA just barely lights up. When it used to work fine, that light would light up very vividly. I tried restarting my pc, re-installing the most recent of the Netgear WNA drivers and trying all of the USB ports. A few weeks ago, that would fix it, but now nothing.

Is there anything I can do? Or is my Netgear WAN dead? It's strange, because it didn't suffer any physical damage, and it looks brand new...
