Default Wired connection suddenly slower

Hi all,

For some reason the wired connection from my eva9150 to my readynas duo has suddenly got very slow. It used to be between 40 and 80 Mb. And since last week it went down to only 6 to 8 Mb. What could be causing this. I restarted my router, restarted the eva, even tried the wireless connection again, which show the same speeds. The speed is the same b.t.w. to my pc and the readynas in my study room.

Regards,

Perenor.

Have you noticed any new wireless networks showing up in the network setup? You might try analyzing your wireless network to see if changing the wireless channel might help. Lots of free apps for your smart phone available. Of course, I'd also try restarting the ReadyNAS if you haven't already.

I'd reboot the router while I was at it (and if you have switches along the connection path, I would power-cycle them too).

Scrap that. I read "wireless" instead of wired.
