R4500 router 2.4ghz light orange 5.0ghz blue?

Hi everyone,

I purchased R4500 router and while it seems working fine, I just noticed that 2.4ghz light is orange while 5.0ghz is blue. Is that normal?
I have a few devices which are connected to 5.0ghz and also 2.4ghz...

Just checking to see how come the light colors are different and if it's normal...the manual says that both 2.4ghz / 5ghz solid blue : the wireless radio is operating...

If anyone can assist that would be great!!

This is an error in the user manual. When the radios are turned ON, the 2.4 GHz LED is green and the 5 GHz LED is Blue.

If your 2.4 GHz radio is ON and the LED is orange and your devices work on the 2.4 GHz band, then there is a malfunction of some sort with the LED but not the radio. There could be other malfunctions you are not aware of yet. If this is your scenario then you might consider returning the router for a replacement.

That is correct if you look at the picture of the router in the very first page of the manual you can see it should be green for 2.4 GHz
