Default Having DOS issues.

I recently upgraded from my older netgear router, to a WNR2000, it was good out of the box, seemed super quick compared to the older G-band router, was super happy with it, but for the past few days i've been having the same issue that i had with the other netgear router for the longest time. Every time i try to open any site, or launch any application that has some sort of internet functionality to it, the router throws up a DOS intrusion warning in the logs, with the IP of the server that cause the issue (For example, if you went to google.com, the DOS attack in the router logs would be from a google server). I fixed this issue on my older router by disabling the SPI firewall, but i can't find any way to disabling the filter that makes my current router think it's constantly being DOS'd, and taking an average of about half a minute to start loading a page, then be super slow as it does it, is pretty frustrating. Can anyone help me out here?

wnr2000 is NOT wired router gateway. It is WIRELESS/WIRED ROUTER GATEWAY

Question Re: Having DOS issues.

I am looking at my router logs for a WNDR3300 and I have the same thing. The logs indicate that a [DOS attack: STORM] attack packets in last 20 sec from ip [PlayStation3], occured recently. I also recently enabled my SPI firewall, and am wondering if this is a miscommunication or a true threat that deserves immediate attention? Please respond and thank you.
