Firmware Update problem WNR2000

I cannot update my firmware have downloaded the firmware but when i try to put into router it comes back with message file not recognised ihave been d/l the img file and also tied chk just for luck but still no luck.Has anyone go any bright ideas.I have done a hard reset and do nor want to use inbuilt d/l as it f++++d my last router

wnr2000 has V1 ,2 3

you MUST use correct V# product support page


you need to your home work right but V3 uses Img and V2 uses .chk file

seems you got wrong firmware

wnr2000 is NOT wired network adapters. it is wireless/wired routers

Sorry i got it in the wrong forum.But if img and chk dont work what does as neither work on this unit so what file does V1 use as you only gave me files that work for v2 and v3

Doesn matter

If v1 then use ONLY v1 firmare
