Default WNR854T to Linksys WET11

Hi

Since my Linksys router stopped working i've gone for a RangeMAx WNR854T, and i'm trying to set it up wirelessly connecting to a Linksys WET11 ethernet bridge so i've got 2 questions.

1. are the 2 makes compatable?
2. if yes what is the setup procedure please.

i've tried a few methods but nothing works basicly i've set the SSID and disabled the WEP.

you help will be greatly appriciated.

regards: canthackit

thanks for the reply
Mars Mug

at first i thought you were correct, but then i kept re-reading the info and i draw your attention to this line
"router <--wireless--> ethernet bridge <--wired--> computers will work."

but i suppose the end line in my case is i still cannot get it to work

thanks & regards: canthackit

That depends on how the Linksys Ethernet bridge works, many non-Netgear devices use WDS which the Netgear does not support.
