VOB Chapter navigation??? HELP PLEASE!

I have ripped some of my DVDs to VOB files using DVD Decrypter and the EVA8000 will play them through from start to finish without any problems. However if I try to jump forward or backward using either the next chapter button on the remote or using the keypad on the remote, the system will only jump forward a small percentage of the movie.

When the file details are displayed the EVA8000 lists the file size of the VOBs wrong. Most of my movies are around 5Gb in size but the EVA800 lists them with random sizes between 500Mb and 3.2Gb. It appears as if the system will perform the % jumps to replace chapter skipping as it should; but it only jumps according to the incorectly recognised file size. For example when I press the 9 key on the remote it should jump 90% of the file so that you are near the end. What actualy happens is it jumps 90% of the incorect file length.

Can anybody suggest a way forward?

Do you play them using the IFO file? If so you should be able to navigate by pressing "Menu" selecting the title/chapter and pressing "Menu" again to get back to full screen.
