I have installed the router and get an Internet connection with both the wired desktop (Win2K) and wireless laptop (WinXP) systems. However, some sites, (eBay, our online banking and financial services) will not successfully advance beyond the login screen. I have the same problem with Hotmail and any site that uses forms. For example, I had to bypass the router to register for this forum. I don't see any other threads which address this problem.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. |

I started having this same problem since this morning. All of the sudden the router would not get to certain sites. It knows the ip but can't ping or tracert. I can get to most sites.
These are the site I can't get to so far. http://www.thehuynh.com http://www.bhdgdptcalifornia.com http://www.vo-uu.com I've checked my router and up the firmware to the latest version this morning. Nothing I can see that is causing this weird [routing issue??]. |

I'm using a Motorola Cable Modem as well.
I forgot to mention that when I bypass the router I CAN get to the sites that I cannot get to when connected to the router. |

Tech support got it going.
The final resolution is to go to the BASIC SETTINGS tab and select Use Computer MAC Address You may need to cycle the power on the modem and router when done. But that what I did and it worked!!! |

That doesn't make any sense. Why did all of the sudden stop working and then for me just magically came back online all by itself? And also, it's just a few sites I have listed here that are not resolving the routes, it appears. All of the other site (including this forum) were ok.
