Default Changing NAT settings?

How do I change my NAT settings. Right now it is a strict connection, but I want to change it to an open connection. Does anyone know how or if it's possible?

Welcome to the forum.

This has been discussed several times.

You may want to search for other posts but you need to make sure you have the latest firmware with a factory reset afterwards. Also, make sure that you do not have a modem/router. You may have to disable the SPI firewall. Also try using the DMZ or forwarding the proper ports necessary.

Moving to 802.11g routers.

SIMPLE FIX SOLOUTION!

I know, it's a pain in the ass trying to figure this all out... but i had the same prob. Here's what worked for me:

1. Go to www.routerlogin.net
2. screename: admin password: password or password 1 ?
3. in the top left corner, click wireless options
4. where it says secutity settings(or something to that effect) select "none"
5. click apply

now go check your xbox connection. That's what worked for me... Good luck!
