Error checking for internet updates

Hi All

Im new into this business, and don´t know a lot about NAS, so could anybody please help me.

When I try to check for updates I get this answer "error checking for internet updates".

I need to get the updates, so I can get it to work with my Itunes.

Do a re-flash (see sticky), it will bring you to the latest update.

thanks I´ve done that, now it works, but a new problem came up. I´ve lost access to stora.
I can see stora under network, and in itunes, but lost contact and I don´t know what to do.

When I put a new user in, the same problem occure - it´s not possible to enter the folders..

Can anybody help me.

Are you able to login from mystora.com using your admin account?

yes, no problem.

Is it possible to make af formating of the entire disk, create new account, and it will work then.

I don´t have that many data on the disk, and nothing important, so if you think that will get it to work it will be ok for me.

You can format the disk from Preferences -> Disk management.

I did a format, then a reflash, and now I have acess to all my folders and it works in itunes as well - so eveything is fine

I find that with a static IP the DNS settings go astray and that results in this error. It might be worth checking your network settings before flattening the stora if it happens again.
