Tried both the latest and now on the .10 firmware.
I am on ATT VDSL 16MB speed. I am using both wired (PC, PS3,Laptop) and wireless (phone, tablet, laptop) on both bands. Previously had a Dir-655 with no issues other than router is a few years old and a bit slower. No issues with connecting to the internet. Bought the R6300 on 6/23 and have had issues ever since. Internet will stay stable for a few hours, then I will get constant disconnects on wired and wireless devices stating there is no internet connectivity. The router and the modem have been rebooted countless times. I restored factory settings and flashed back to the last firmware and am still getting this issue. After rolling back yesterday the connectivity seemed to be super fast, but today its constantly up and down. At this point I am about to return this router for something else. Any ideas on how to fix this? |

Factory reset the modem again
only settings changed: ssid on both bands Using my main desktops Mac address in the internet settings. Let's hope that works. |

Same issues. Connectivity is sporadic on all devices (2 androids, iPad, ps3, 2 desktops, laptop). Upon contacting support, I received what amounted to an auto response asking me to power cycle and the like even though I told them that I had done this. I love its speed when it works, but this isn't working like other netgear products that I've previously used. I wonder if turning off the 5g would help, since it really can't be used yet? I'm giving it a few more days and then taking it back if I can't get some consistent performance.
Anyone found a solution? |

1. Unplug for 20 seconds and plug back in both the modem and the r6000.
2. Check to see what channel the 2.4 and 5g bands are on and change them if they are three channels near another device in you neighborhood. |

After resetting the router to factory defaults,I reset up the router with mac address cloning of my main pc. I changed my SSID's to my selection and ran the .10 and now the latest firmware. We have only had issues one day last week that seems to be an ATT DSL issue in our area(fiber cut in the area). I noticed the QOS Internet is off and havent tried to turn it back on yet. I will test for a few days on this new firmware before making any changes in the settings.
