Qucikest Way to Copy Files from Stora to ReadyNAS

Hi,

What's the quickest and best way to transfer all my multimedia from my Stora to a new ReadyNAS? There is about 1TB of data I would like transferred to the ReadyNAS. Is it just a matter of copying the folders over in Windows Explorer or is there a better way or an application I can use?

I would appreciate any advice.

Faster would be if you plug stora drive to your desktop PC and then copy. Faster read time. But that's more complicated so just use your windows box and leave it running for 3 days.

Thanks for the reply. I have remoted into my computer and have started the transfer between the two storage devices.

Is there any new way to accomplish this? I have a stora with 3.5tb of data and I want to back it up to a ReadyNas NV+ v2 with 6tb of free space.
