Default Doubts about CG3000 and opensource firmwares

Hello, I'm looking for information about this AP firmware. I have downloaded the source code and I have decompressed it but now I have some doubts. There two kind of OS, one eCos based and other Linux based. is that correct?. Also I would like to know once the firmware is compiled how I can upload to the router.
