Default help with DGN2200v3 as master and DG834Gv3 as repeater

alright here are the settings:

DGN2200v3 (master)
Name (SSID) netgear1
Region Europe
Channel 6
Mode Up to 54 Mbps
Wireless AP ON
Broadcast Name ON
Wireless isolation OFF
Wi-Fi Protected Setup Configured
IP Address 192.168.0.1
DHCP On
DHCP pool: 192.168.0.3/254
IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

WEP key enabled
Wireless Repeating Function enabled (Wireless Base Station and repeater's MAC address set)

DG834Gv3 (repeater)
Name (SSID) netgear2
Region Europe
Channel 6
Mode 54 Mbps
Wireless AP ON
Broadcast Name ON
Wireless isolation OFF
IP Address 192.168.0.2
DHCP OFF
IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

WEP key enabled (same as master's)
Wireless Bridging and Repeating enabled (Repeater with Wireless Client Association and master's MAC address set)

but... the whole repating thing doesn't work!
when I connect to the dg384g (repeater) internet/lan doesn't work.

where's the problem?
thanks

alright, I set the same SSID but still it doesn't work.
on the master's config under "Wireless Repeating - Repeater MAC Address 1" it's empty and the repeater's MAC is not showing up.
what's wrong.. ?
thanks

there is not such thing as ports for repeating

make sure you are not too far from the main unit. 2nd unit must overlap the signal instead of place that signal is weak when pc was not getting enough signal from the DGN2200 prior to adding DG834

the second unit is quite close to the first unit (around 50% signal strengh)... but still the first unit doesn't seem to "see" the second unit, since on "Wireless Repeating" it's still empty...

the DHCP pool on the first unit is correct? 192.168.0.3/254, with master's ip 192.168.0.1 and repeater's ip 192.168.0.2
