Hi everybody,
I'm trying to configure my stora (MS2000) for local access using Network Places, but I managed only to access by the browser interface that works fine. The PC sees the Stora (and Stora2) as one of the local network PCs, but trying to get access by double click, windows says me he can't access the network location. I need to get access to the disks directly as they would be connected by USB, so I installed Stora Agent that says me the username or password (same used on the browser) aren't correct. Looking around the forum I couldn't find any solution... Could someone help me, please? Thanks in advance! |

In Stora preferences, is Network Sharing enabled and workgroup correct?
What happens if you click Start -> Run and type \\ipofstora where ipofstora is the actual ip address you used in your ping test. Any firewall/antivirus software? Also click Start -> Run -> %temp% and review Axentratxt.log for clues ![]() Cheers, Roby! |

I Solved!
I did not understand what was the problem; I contacted the netgear support which suggested me to do a reset of the stora (after many others suggestions), and that worked. Now I have access to the stora via browser, mystora.com, stora agent and network places. Great! Thanks for the help! |
