Question Pulling my hair - WGR614v10 as Repeater f/ AT&T 2701HG-B

I have an AT&T 2701HG-B Gateway & a Netgear WGR614v10.

All I want to do is repeat the wireless signal from the 2701HG-B Modem.

Right now my AT&T 2701HG-B is my main router. I want my WGR614v10 to wirelessly repeat the 2701HG-B's wireless signal with no cables.

Is this possible & how would I do it?

Do I have to make any changes to the AT&T modem/router? I tried enabling wireless repeating on the Netgear, set an IP within the AT&T's DCHP range & give it the AT&T's mac address but it never did connect.

What am I missing?
