Hi,

This is mainly a query to Roby - (and I know they have been asked before, but have read anything definitive)

Is there any chance for the Stora to support higher than 2TB drives?

Also, is there any chance for the ability to upgrade from a smaller to a larger drive in a Raid 1 set up without having to back everything up off the stora?

I understand these 2 are/may be possible using 'open stora' methods but will it be included in the regular hipserv offering?

Thanks,

The short answer is no. Netgear has end of lifed the Stora, I doubt they will be buying any further updates. As mentioned in another post, Axentra is no longer actively working on the HipServ platform, we've shifted to HipPlay, but should be updating most HipServ-Based devices to be HipPlay compatible.

Cheers,
Roby!
