WNDR 4500 Blue light/Amber light

New to world of routers, after install and router up & running,I downloaded user manual that says blue lights for 2.4 & 5 when radios on, I'am sure I had 2 blue lights first day, but I could'nt turn off wireless with button? Next day button does turn off wireless, but when turned back on only 5 is blue & 2.4 is amber now? Talked to support, they said 5 blue & 2.4 amber is correct ? so who's right, them or the manual. Thanks for any help.

My 2.4 has always been Green; 5 is Blue.

Chuck S is correct. The 5 GHz LED is blue when the radio is turned on and the 2.4 GHZ is green. Other LED's can be amber in color, but not the radio LED's.

The manual is in error about a blue LED for the 2.4 GHz radio. Netgear is aware.

Thanks for the feedback, must be working OK, wireless button inop on first day had me thinking unit may be faulty. Poor attitude if incorrect info is a known issue in the user manual and hasn't been corrected.
