My internet was down all day today. Assumed it was the company the whole time. I was out most of the day and only was able to call at about 8...By 9 we had figured out it was not my ISP but my router because I could connect my desktop directly into the wall and it will work, thus, how I am posting. This would be fine if the rest of my family did not need the net...So...
The wireless will not work...I went online, figuring in the "stickied" thread that it was working fine and then..nothing. Without myself being online, it wil ltake me to the 192.168.1.1 login but when my desktop is connected to the internet, it will not. It says the connection times out. I need to get on it with a connection to see if it is the firmware that needs upgrading. I tried downloading some kind of upgrade from the website but it just sends me parts of files and release notes that say I need to open the login screen, thus, looping to the previous problem. Please, I work from home as a social media manager so the internet is money in the bank. I also need to be able to live without my family going crazy without the internet. Please, please, help me! Thank you so much! |

Definitely need to hard reset? Like to wipe all the current settings? :/
What I meant by what you quoted was: When I am not connected to anything, the login page will pop up. When I am connected to the internet byway of the wall, it will not pop up. |
