I've lost remote control from my Neo. Don't like universal remote and android app. Can anybody point me to the right direction where I can get THE ORIGINAL REMOTE?
Thanks |

I can't answer your actual question, but I was never a fan of universal remotes until I discovered the Logitech series of universal remotes. Especially the Harmone One. They are a bit pricey (but cheaper than Pronto or similar). But they are truly an awesome remote control.

Hi, I'm afraid I can't answer this question, too.
But I will suggest my solution: Once, my kids had lost the remote and I had to use (for some days) my safety backup copy. This is a copy of the original remote, that is being used on an empty, programmable remote control. I used the IR-100 model. No problems at all. If you get yourself familiar with the file format, you can re-shape the key mapping, if it doesn't match your needs. I'm sure that you can find (and post here) some similar hardware in the place you live. The manufacturer is chinese. I will also post here a lirc file from the original remote, I hope it makes any help. |

thanks everybody. for now I've settled down with the L5 remote IR dongle and my old IPOD. not ideal but works. still missing the original one but ipod remote can actually emulate all my remotes and still is a fraction of the price of the Logitech (if you have ipod of course).

I lost my remote control and I am using my cellphone app to control it (wired internet). I want to setup my wifi but without the original remote control it is impossible. The wifi menu activates only if the box is unplugged from the wired network. I guess they didn’t think this would happen right. What a poor design. Do you know any way to manually setup wifi using the android app through wired connection?.
