I have the same error. So now I have a timer that power off the FVS336g every night for 1 minute. But still from time to time I have to restore a backup to the unit to have VPN running again.

Exact same problem here - the Syslog always shows that the router has crashed and rebooted itself and thereafter the VPN will not connect - restoring the backup is the solution.
