Default WNR1000 & DG834 in tandem

I have a DG834 delivering ADSL to a WNR1000 which provides my WiFi. I use the four wired ports on the WNR1000 but am unable to see the three remaining DG834 ports on my LAN. I presume this is a subnet issue but how do I get all available wired ports on the same LAN?

I do not see these options in either router setup. Please explain in a little more detail how to do this.

Unhappy Re: WNR1000 & DG834 in tandem

I am sorry but neither of these solutions work with my set up. I tried without success to replicate the paper 'Using W... Routers as an Access point'. Neither of my routers will accept being on the same subnet as the other. Also neither router will accept not being the DHCP server.
