Headset for SPH101

Having been happily using my SPH101 for a few weeks now, I would like to add a headset as the device gets quite hot during long calls. Does anyone know of a compatible Headset?

I don't believe there is any list for compatible headsets. Any wired cell phone headset should work, hopefully.

Specifically, you'll want to look for a nokia type 'mini-jack' headset.

Hi!

I have tried a "standard" headset with a 2.5mm plug, but it doesn't work.

I was also told by the support department that the SPH101 requires a headset with a 2.5mm with 4 connections, and all "normal" headsets only have 3 connections so they will not work.

Would appriciate if anyone could confirm this.

The 4 contacts 2.5mmis correct. I am using the headset that came with my Samsung A900. Works great except for in high noise areas.

I don't know if anyone still uses their sph101 netgear skype phone, but I do, and I finally found a headset that works!!! I have searched on countless forums and have even purchaced a couple headsets at the reccomendation of other users, only to be dissapointed when they didn't work.
today i walked into my local wireless store and got a Mybat headset that actually works.
the company is Mybat wireless accessories, and the headset is stereo. It is listed as compatible with:
PCD-WP8990 (ESCAPADE), TXT8026C (TXTM8), MOT-VE465, V750, BLACKBERRY-8350i, SAN-M550(EXCLAIM),
and others....LG-LX290
anyway, it works great. i don't have to restart the phone to make it work, and the people i talk to don't complain about background noise. i hope this helps some people out there.
the product code on the packaging is: 168HDFRST015WP

I have heard about some head phones and there is one which is compatible with netgear SPH101 and skype wi-fi phone and hence worked perfectly and it is SennheiserMM30.

Try this head set it is good to use.
