On my laptop my staus is Connected with Signal strengh Exellent but I cannot open IE or AOL

AOL said click Start,Run type in cmd click ok then enter in IPCONFIG which shows an IP address of 169.254.132.125 and they said it should be 192.168.0.2 so can I change it or is my laptop faulty??

See if you can address the router's user interface via either of the addresses you mention (though it's usually 192.168.0.1) via Internet Explorer -- this should be explained in the lliterature which came with the router, or download the manual via button at top of this page.

I suspect it may simply be an encryption problem, so once you're into the router's user interface I'd try disabling wireless security temporarily.

address 169.254.132.125 is called APIPA, you get that address if yours is not manualy configured, and also there is no DHCP around, so solution could be
- manualy configure network settings
or
-chek that DHCP is turned on on router and that IP range is covering all of yours clients

good luck

Check your encryption keys and make sure they are correct
