Default ac adapter plug size

Hello All,
I got a few me102's lying around with no power supplies. I need 5v 1A and am NOT going to pay $30-40 for an AC adapter when jameco has them for $5. Trouble is I can't find what size the dc plug is. No mech spec's from netgear...
Any help on this would be great..and btw these things work outstanding!

If you live in the USA, you can go to your local Radio Shack and find the correct adaptaplug size. For instance my Netgear Ethernet Switch uses an "H" plug. Then use the following conversion chart to get the correct size.

http://support.radioshack.com/suppor.../pwrgde-2H.htm

The H plug says it is 3.4 mm outside diameter and 1.3 mm inside diameter. I think it might really be 3.5 mm OD and 1.5 mm ID, but when you are talking tenths of a millimeter, there is some leeway.

Once you know the size, then you can contact Jameco or other vendors and find the AC adapter you need. There are vendors out of china and Taiwan selling adapters including shipping for $3.50. But they don't have every size available. And as we know all the AC adapters are made in China anyway.

Your power supply might need to be a 'regulated' one.
Ba careful of that.
