Hello everyone,
Does anyone know when we may expect Linux support for the netgear products???? Ubuntu is my favorite linux software. I do have wire support automatically, but would love to go wireless with the netgear brand. I have used Wine with the ubuntu, but the driver load file seems unable to continue the completion process of installation after the 'reboot' which the driver asks you to do.. Anyone who has success with this, please let me know. Thanks.

My understanding is that Netgear doesn't provide Linux drivers. However, the underlying chipsets often have generic drivers for Linux. The solution may be to work out seek which is used on a specific Netgear product (it may also be used by other manufacturers' products) and then seek a driver. Probably this is an issue that has been faced by many other Linux users -- so hit the Linux sites first.
