I change my isp provider and then try to reconfigure my WGR614v6 router, that time i got login but then i forgot my passward and did reset. But after that i never ever got login with 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0. I did lot to reset like hard reset and every thing but couldn't get there. So, I am really tired by this thing now so, please any one can help me to get me reconfigure my router wireless but i did connected wire from router to my pc don't say me to check wire bcus every things works good without router, i mean directly to modem.so please help me out.

Feasible that the router is broken. But see quick start leaflet or download the manual to make sure you have the right default User Name: and Password:

In addition to the above check that you have the correct IP address -- in Windows go Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt and type ipconfig/all.
If the router is turned on and correctly connected to the ethernet socket of the computer, ipconfig should reveal the IP address of the router (it's the the figure next to the word gateway). I'm struggling here a bit as I have limited knowledge but I guess that as you are presumably using a Cable ISP the IP address may be cloned from the modem's address, thus the issue with addressing the router using a default IP address. |
