Thank you for your message. Here are my problem decscription:
1. When I plug in the WG111T adapter, the adapter's light is not on. 2. When I double click on Netgear WG111T Smart Wizard, it would flash briefly and disappear from the desktop. 3. I checked the Network Adapter in Device Manager, it shown an yellow exclamation mark on Netgear WG111T adpater icon. In the WG111T properties, it shown "The device cannot start (code 10)". 4. I clicked the troubleshoot tab and was instructed to uninstall the driver and reinstall again. 5. I tried to uninstall using Add/Remove program, Device Manager and Netgear uninstall wizard but the system just "hang" at 0% status bar. 6. I have tried in safe mode but the same thing happened. 7. I have tried other freeware uninstaller but the system just "hang". Appreciate very much if anyone with the same problem could help. Thank you veru much in advance. |

I tried the following procedures. It managed to get rid of Netgear driver (0% moving to 100% and Netgear uninstaller displayed 'Successful' message) but the Netgear uninstaller will also remove drivers for usb root hub at the same time. Need to reinstall drivers for USB Root hub.
Also, when I reinstall the Netgear wg111t driver again, the Netgear WG111T still cannot work - it shown "This device cannot start - (code 10)". Try at own risk only if you want to remove Netgear WG111T and also prepare to reinstall USB root hub. 1. Alt-Ctr_Del to go to Task Manager. From Process Tab, select "wlan111t" and click End Process. 2. Delete all files from C:\Program Files\NETGEAR\WG111T Configuration Utility 3. Activate "Uninstall Netgear WG111T smart wizard", the 0% will move to 100% and it will display "successful" message. 4. Reinstall USB root hub drivers. Appreciate it very much if any one could help. If not, I will just discard Netgear and buy another Wireless Adapter from other manufacturer. Regards |
