Reported: Issue with Firefox 3: When trying to upgrade the firmware.
Solutions: To resolve, either go into settings and turn off Java, or use Firefox 2 or IE6/IE7. Don't forget to turn Java back on so that you will able to surf the website that uses Java. Disclaimer: Netgear Forum is user to user forum and NOT Netgear Technical Support. All models of Netgear routers are design to use with IE Browser at default. Some model may not be fully compatible and can corrupt your firmware upgrade. Using other alternative browser for your firmware upgrade is end user's choice. Forum posting does not warranty your device from any corruption to your device. This is a quick fix for FireFox users although using IE Browser will assure you that any changes you will make and/or firmware will upgrade correctly. Image #1 & #2 will show you that error your receiving with before you make any changes to FireFox. Assuming they were working with them enabled. *Image & Doc provided by "GLaDOS
