From your message I am guessing that you have set WPA (PSK TKIP) in the router but the router settings page will not accept the setting.

Have you updated the router's firmware recently ? -- in which case you may need to reset the router using the reset button.

If the problem is different -- you might experiment with using other types of WPA
or WEP.

If I have misunderstood you, please try to explain more.

If you don't know about firmware then don't worry about it, I only asked in case there was a connection with the problem -- but you have not updated the firmware so there is not.

If you reset the router you will lose any changes you have made to the router settings but it may also clear the problem you are having.

If none of this helps you may want to call the Netgear office in your country for assistance.

I would suggest you look at any posting on this forum by jmizoguchi and follow links to his tips on different types of reset.

No. Do not install new firmware.

If you are still having problems, telephone Netgear in Italy.

Ok, Hes saying that he is setting his WPA settings up and I guess his internet disconnects or something and he has to restart his router to reset settings and fix it.

My solution:
I think you might be putting in your WPA settings then you need to enter those settings in to your computer. I could help you more with this if you told me if your using Windows Vista or XP?

Italian Translation of my Solution:

Penso che potreste metterli nelle vostre regolazioni di WPA allora necessitą di fornire quelle regolazioni dentro al vostro calcolatore. Potrei aiutarlo di pił con questo se mi diceste se il vostro Windows Vista o XP usando?
