why does eva8000 display iso9600 name?

i like using the iso format for all of my dvd movies, and they work great expect for subtitle and i know its because i dont have beta, but my real question is "can i change the eva to display the file name i give the ISO?" or why does it use the dvd volume name? I use dvd fab for ripping, and try to rename the volume to the same as the "file".iso, but what are the charicter rules for volume labels, because few dvd names display corectely on the eva. any advise, and no dont care to go through and "tag" everything, when i already have the file structure i want, but eva wont co-operate.
