So you're trying to install the adapter in ubuntu?
Well! I'm not the best linux guy, but I know you're going to need the ndis wrapper installed. And you'll install the windows drivers using ndis wrapper.
I'll see if I can find a link for how to install it.

First:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=690699

Secondly, if you kinda read over that, you'll see that they installed the software with wine, got the .inf file from the /windows/inf directory. From there you'll need to locate the sys files that get installed also.
Collect them all together, and then use ndiswrapper on the inf file.
That should install the drivers, and it should detect it from there.
I can't guarantee you'll get the full speed, but it should recognize it.

You should be able to just download the files here:
http://listing.driveragent.com/usb/0...ut3l49i9gnkbb2
They're the same chipsets, so either of those should work but that's kinda relative.

This page: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...andNdiswrapper
should help you with installing windows drivers in ubuntu.

I made it!=)

FOR EVRYONE ELSE SAME PROB JUST LIKE THIS:
1. go into applicatins->add/remove
2. Search on "wrapper" and look fo ndiswrapper install it.

If u dont have install the drivers with Wine , Do it
(u can install wine from Add/remove also.)
Locate the ".inf." file in your instaled drivers with wine, the file leys at

/home/YOURNAME/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/NETGEAR/WNDA3100/drivers/

You can locate it by go applications->wine->Go C:/ ->Program files->netgear->wnda3100

Copy or locate the ".inf" with ndiswrapper who lay "system-admin-ndiswrapper"
istall it and there u go! restart by press alt+ctr+backspace and it will pop-up in internet in righ high corner!
