Help.. anyone...
I have a DG384N ADSL router. I have also just purchase a HP C4380 photosmart printer that I want to use wirelessly. I've gone through the printer setup. Everything was ok. Printer has the network settings, and is seen by the router as an attached device. I also have a laptop that is connected wirelessly to the router. I've used it for surfing etc and have had no problems so far... My problem is that I cannot ping the printer using my wireless connection. If I connect my laptop to the router using an eithernet cable, I can ping it, install it, use it through the network. But once I disconnect the cable and switch over to wireless I can't ping anything accept the router itself. I've logged onto the admin webpage and was able to ping both devices from the router. I've turned off my firewall software on the laptop as well. Is there a wireless setting i'm missing or the the router's firewall stopped the traffic? Please help I've spent two day's on this!!!

Nope cannot print when using wireless. I think it's because the laptop cannot see anything other than the router. I'm running vista. but have tried pinging an XP laptop. ( Connected Wirelessly ) same issue. The router can itself do it...
I'ved turned off firewall software as well. |

Success Woohooo!
On the Admin webpage I went to wireless settings. There was a little check box called "Wireless Isolation" that was checked. I unchecked it, then I was able to ping the printer. Because I was able to ping the printer. I was able install the printer and all the goodies. Happy day's. It's only taken me 2 days!
