Default Windows has encountered an error saving the wireless profile

Windows has encountered an error saving the wireless profile. Specific error: the service has not been started.

Netgear RangeMax Duo Wireless-N Router WNDR3300
Running Windows Vista Home Premium

I have been using the wireless by WPA2-Personal security for a few months now and it worked fine. I didn't have to enter the security key because it has been saved on the computer, but today when I tried to connect, it asked for the security key and would not connect. I've tried many things and all the security options but it gave me the same error. Any help would be grateful. Thanks.
