I have a netgear wireless router hooked up to my desktop. I am running a wireless card via usb cable and my netgear is working just fine, I keep getting a screen that asks for a PBC(push button configuration) or a PIN (personal identification number). I have no idea how to do either. It is blocking my internet connection for my desktop. Maybe you have a solution?

Please clarify what model of router and wireless device you have.
What you describe sounds like the WPS feature that some routers/clients support. This is a quote from the WNDR3300 ‘Add WPS Client’ setup page; Add WPS Client Help WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup. This is a process that let you add a wireless client to the network easily, and you don't have to specificly configure the wireless settings like SSID, security mode, and passphrase. You can select to add a wireless client either through the "Push Button" or "PIN Number". You originally posted in a thread relating to the WPN824 which does not appear to have this feature, but your USB wireless client may have?
