Default Blue light

i just purchased a wpn824 router and I have it in my bedroom. the large blue light is keeping me up at night. please advise if i can turn this off somehow and if so provide instructions on how to do it.

I can't remember how to do it with this particular model, but try the following:

1. There might be a button on the back that turns it on/off
2. Try tapping the blue light to turn it on/off
3. Try holding in the blue light for 3-5 seconds and then releasing it

don't think it will be turn off at all.

you need to get black tape and cover it.

this already talk about thread quite of often in the past

Bummer, I know other models can do it. It's like a rave if you have it in your room with that blue light on

I had notion on some WPN824 had interface like V2 or V3 but never seen that either so the tape is the solution. I will not say use duct tape. I got eat up on last time saying that... " use black tape" (this time I said it right) hahah..

I have a 824v3 and i dont have a blue light on mine, there is the blu circle on top/side which flash when you turn the light on w/ the black botton in the back, my manuel says i can turn them off w/ this and router still works..

thanks.. I thought V.3 had button in the back to turn off the christmas tree
