Question Router Password & Wireless Passwords

Sometimes My clients forget there wireless Key and also there Router password.

This dos'nt happen often but when it does I have to reset the Router back to factory setting and re-configure it.

Is they a way to reveal the Router password without resetting it?

a) the router access password

http:///192.168.0.1

username: admin
password: ????????

And Also Reveal the wireless key without accessing the router?

P.S I always try "password" and "1234" first.

Why donít you keep a written log of your clients passwords? Is there a big risk in the clients writing them down and sticking them to the bottom of the router? You could also keep a backup of settings so that if you do need to reset you can just restore from the backup.

Hi, I am new to this site and I wondered if you had received an answer. My husband set up our Netgear. I have no idea what the password is and have purchased a laptop for my oldest. He has passed away and I have tried every password I can think of and cannot figure it out.
