Default WGR14 restarting cable modem

Hi everyone,

I have the router for about 2 months now and just recently it started to act weird. The router would cause my cable modem to restart every 30 seconds. If I unplugged it and use my Linksys, it would be okay. I updated the firmware, same problem.

Cable modem: RCA, Time Warner cable
Netgear WGR14, v 7 with latest firmware.

Welcome to the forum.

Make sure the router and modem are not too close or one on top of the other. Give the devices sufficient space so that there is no electrical interference.
