Exclamation Wireless-N Router and USB Adapter

Hello people,

first of all im sorry if ive posted this in the wrong part of the forum, but i couldnt find out where exactly to post for the Router i have.

Now i recently recieved a Netgear Wireless-N Router and USB Adapter Kit from my ISP for free.

i think the exact model of the Router is - WNB2100

Ive set it all up,Wired that is i do not want to use wireless so ive just connected my Modem to the Router, installed the software and bam it worked no problems.

thing is,How do i go about making sure that my connection is secure?
i dont want anyone from the outside been able to gain access to it.

Like i said im not using the wireless adapter that came with it,i just wanted the router wired for extra security.

This is all confusing to me im a complete noob when it coems to networking and stuff.

i looked through the manual and from what i can see it only shows you how to confugure my router for Wireless.

thing is i dont want wireless at all,i want to disable it or at least password it so if anyone from the outside tried to access it they cant.

i need further help here, not just a manual.

ive changed the default password for my router to a long one

ive looked in all the settings in "Netgear Smartwizard" and cant see any other options to stop wireless or password protect it.

i looked in "Router settings" and it said

Wi-Fi Protected Setup - Not Configured
Wireless AP OFF
Broadcast Name ON

and under security options it says my protection is the highest...

WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]

i have no clue lol
