Default Confused about using DMZ (Xbox Live)

I've read many posts about using (or not using) DMZ.

I've got two Xbox 360's connected to a WNR834B Router... I need to open the NAT for both.

I understand that I can only open the ports of one of these and the other will have to go into the DMZ.

I've also heard that putting anything in the DMZ will open a backdoor to my network...

Under the Specifications Tab of this router on Netgear's website it states:
* Exposed Host (DMZ) for secure gaming in the Security section *

http://www.netgear.com/Products/Rout...Specifications

...again, I'm confused as to what to do... is it safe or not.

Thank You to anybody that can end my confusion.

Make sure you have the latest firmware

I've currently got two Xbox 360's and one PS3 up and running...

The only issue I have is the NAT on the Xbox 360's which is currently "Strict".

I'm not able to check my settings currently (at work), but with UPNP enabled, does it change the NAT from Strict to Open???

(and the firmware is updated)

I've been to portforward.com... that's where I found this:

http://www.portforward.com/english/r...x_Live_360.htm

But again, I still can't find a solid answer about DMZ... is it safe to put one of my Xbox 360's in there (while the other one has the ports open).

and that quote from Netgear's website: "Exposed Host (DMZ) for secure gaming"

dmz will bypass the firewall so therefore they will be security whole.
port forwarding is what I would use

...so basically, if you have more than one Xbox, you're outta luck with this particular router?

So, only one Xbox can be "OPEN"?
(safely that is)

Kinda sucks...
