Default WGR614v9 blinking power light

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with the problem I have with my Netgear WGR614v9 Router.

After I installed the latest firmware version, my Internet didn't work anymore. Before that (with the default firmware) it worked perfectly. I have an ADSL modem where the Internet comes in (which still works) and I used the Router to route the Internet to my desktop (wired) and laptop (wireless). All the settings where set as "auto detect ip" etc.

Because the new firmware didn't give me Internet I downloaded the old firmware from the netgear website and tried to install it. During the flashing progress it gave a "page not found" error, while I flashed it wired and there was no power failure. After that the power light started blinking every second and the checkmark light is on all the time.

I tried a reset via the small button on the back. Both a regular one (20 seconds), as the power down version (hold button 20 secs, power down 20 sec, power up 20 sec, while holding the button). Nothing works.

Is there a solution for this, or can I throw away my Router?

Best regards,

Marc

I've tried the unbrick thing (http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread...hlight=unbrick), but doesn't seem to work. It doesn't accept any connection and the power light just keeps blinking.

I'll just throw the router away and buy myself a new one.
