Default Won't connect thru Linksys Router

I recently purchased and installed the NetGear WG311 v3 Adapter in a Dell 4300 machine using Microsoft XP, Pro v.2002, w/SP3. I already had on hand a Linksys WRT54G, v8 Router. I had no problem installing the software or the card. When I go to "find a network" using the WG 311 Wizard, all of the neighborhood networks, including mine, come up. In fact, I can connect to other unprotected networks, but not my own. I have reconfigured the router to eliminate any security issues. It is in the unsecure mode. This didn't help.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have read thru most of the previous posts, but can't find any with specific detailed problems like mine.
